Move over Tina Fey, there’s another actress in line to play the former Governor of Alaska and many think she’ll nail the role.Julianne Moore will play Sarah Palin in a new HBO film about the 2008 presidential election.
And While many thought that Tina Fey was the obvious choice to play the controversial character (everyone has seen her amazing SNL skits by now), film producers were likely looking for someone who could play a more serious role.
Tina Fey nailed the comedic role of Sarah Palin on SNL but can Julianne Moore deliver success when it comes to playing the role of one of the most controversial female figures in the world in a more serious light? I think so.
Moore is a 4-time Oscar nominee (she’s never won) who may have just secured the role of a lifetime.
